Medicare Part A: Hospital Coverage

Part A covers care you receive while you are an inpatient in a hospital or a skilled nursing facility.

Medicare Part B: Medical Coverage

Part B covers doctor visits, clinic services, and care you receive as an outpatient.

Medicare Part D: Prescription Drug Coverage

Part D covers many generic and brand-name prescription medications.

Part: C: Medicare Advantage

Part C: Medicare Advantage combines Parts A and B into one plan. Most plans include prescription drug coverage as well. Eye care, dental care, and hearing aids may also be included.

Open Enrollment Period

The open enrollment period for Medicare is between October 15 and December 7 and is when a current Medicare user can upgrade parts of their plans to Medicare Advantage and/or Part D plan. Your revised coverage will begin on January 1 of the following year. Selecting Brown & Toland is 4 easy steps:

1. If you have a primary care physician, confirm you doctor is a Brown & Toland Physician network provider or find a new primary care physician using our Find a Doctor search tool.
2. At open enrollment, look for a Brown & Toland Medicare Advantage plan.
3. After you select a plan, choose Brown & Toland as your medical group..
4. Once you’ve selected Brown & Toland medical group, you will be able to select the Brown & Toland primary care physician of our choice.
